This year’s festival will be presenting the talented culinary personalities in the Jerk Cook Off Competition, delightful food and a stellar line up to entertain the patrons of all age groups.

As you relish the flavors of Caribbean jerk, you will be entertained by the melodious sounds of Luciano, Freddie McGregor and Dexta Daps on the Main Stage. There are non-stop activities, something for the entire family, as kids engage in activities at the fun filled Kids Romping Zone and the music at the Jerk Explosion Party Pavilion, where the party within a party comes alive.

Sunfest Review 2016!

Sunfest this year was a blast in downtown West Palm Beach! I decided to venture down to the waterfront area of Flagler this Sunday to hear one of my favorite bands. I had my daughter with me so we headed out with our free tickets around 1:30 just in time to park, walk to the fest and grab a the closest spot we could wiggle into and hear our band. The weather was hot and sunny and the crowd was pleasant. We found parking quickly. After my daughter danced and enjoyed the music we strolled around for a while enjoying a strawberry and banana smoothie and arepa. The live showcasing of the fly boarding a new extreme water activity was awesome. The man was literally 50 feet in the air propelled by just water power. We played games and looked at trinkets to but. Of course a flower head band and Sunfest necklace was purchased for souvenirs. We enjoyed some music at the other stages as we meandered. At about the three hour mark it was time to get going. My best friend stayed for the fireworks and said the show was spectacular. One of the best firework shows she had seen in years. Overall, I would say Sunfest 2016 was a hit and an annual tradition I intend to carry on.
